This functionality should be enhanced to allow a Key Contact to switch to the Parent Profile and view all linked members. At present, this requires logging in directly as the parent (typically the organisation profile), which is not practical for organisation membership.

The new content editor is a massive step backwards in functionality

We have found that the recently "updated" content editor has been a massive step backwards in terms of its functionality and flexibility of use.

We have already logged a support ticket with Membes outlining our concerns as an association. The following is some of what we raised, in addition to a few other issues that have come up as we've tried to update or add content on our website since it was introduced. And this list is by no means exhaustive.

> no button to add <DIV> tags for layout and styling options - we used this feature extensively in the old content editor to layout containers, rows, columns, responsive layouts, images, etc.
> no button to easily add a <hr> tag - a basic dividing line
> no pop-up modal dialogue boxes that provide easy HTML/CSS styling options such as Classes and IDs, that can be used on Links, Images, Tables, Text, Paragraphs
> the Image Insert settings don't seem to format images correctly, in particular with email templates when viewed in an email client such as Outlook
> the editor window itself isn't big enough, and even when you resize it using the handle at the bottom right, it reverts back to the original size as soon as you click on something
> there's no easy way to change link settings - eg. open in a new window vs open in same window

We understand a lot of this can still be done within the HTML code in the Source window (which is the response we received from our support ticket), but this was not the case with the previous content editor, and editing the raw HTML code can be extremely problematic and prone to errors.

We find it difficult to believe we are the only ones with this experience? Has anyone else had issues with trying to edit/layout their website and email content with the new content editor?

The reason for this, is that the pop up is gone forever once the member leaves that screen and an email would be better in an instance where you had further instructions post the webform being submitted. The pop up could read "please check your email for further instructions" and then the email goes to a members actual email address associated with their profile.

I think this process could’ve been so much more streamlined if there was an option to import data from a .csv with the attendee name, event name, date, CPD points etc. and have Membes automatically create the CPD logs. It would also be great if there was an option to approve CPD logs in bulk by implementing a check box where you can select the CPD logs you’d like and perform actions on the entire selection such as approval.

Currently, I am not aware of any way to include a "suffix" or "post-nominal" for a member's profile in the database - examples include "OAM", "AM" post-nominals, or in our case, recognising our members who have completed a Certified Club Managers course and who receive a CCM designation.

If the "suffix" or "post-nominal" is included in the member profile "Surname" field, it makes the surname unsearchable in the member directory without including the surname and the suffix/post-nominal in the search field.

Ideally, this should be an extra field in the General tab of the member's profile, and is automatically shown immediately after the Surname where the surname is displayed - reports, member profile, member directory, etc.

A more advanced feature would be to include an option to display or not display the suffix/post-nominal, which could also be an option in the filters.

I think this is referred to in we development world as a 'language override' feature. Having this option would help make the platform adapt across different users / use cases.

Allow shop to display just GST-inclusive pricing

In the past our org has generally always just shown GST-inc figures across forms and products types for simplicity's sake, and left the GST breakdown to invoicing.

Membes' Membership form gives the option to 'Add GST' via the back end, which will show as a clean '$XXX (inc GST)'. However, currently the Shop feature is GST-ex by default and I'm told this cannot be changed. Events give you the 'add GST' option, but it seems to work quite differently to Membership; we end up with the ugly ex GST figs on the form.

So for a $200 inc GST product, different bits of the site would show this as:

Membership:
'$200.00 (inc GST)' twice on form, GST on invoice – perfect

Shop: '$181.81' unit price, and
            '$181.81 + GST' total – not ideal

Event: '$181.81 + GST' – not ideal
'$181.81 ex GST | $200.00 inc GST' at bottom – fine

Ideally we could just have GST looking and working the same as Membership across all parts of the site (or at least have that option).

We would like additional controls for event registrations to better manage capacity and attendee selection.

1. Automatic Waitlist for Full Events

When an event reaches its maximum number of attendees, allow new registrations to be added to a waitlist instead of being blocked.

Key points:

- Waitlist activates automatically once capacity is reached

- Admins can view and promote waitlisted users

- Optional automatic promotion when spots free up

- Notifications to users when waitlisted or confirmed

2. Registration Approval (Accept / Decline)

Add an optional setting per event to approve or decline registrations before confirmation.

Key points:

- Registrations start with a “pending” status

- Admins can accept or decline before adding users to the attendee list

- Useful for invite-only, curated, or member-specific events

The only way we can see to do this is to export a full listing of members to an Excel spreadsheet and manually filter out the specific Gender required, and then manually send an email from a normal email account client (ie. Outlook, etc.).

This is especially valuable for members, as it helps them see which other members will be attending: potentially encouraging them to register if they notice someone they want to meet.

To keep things member-exclusive, the attendee list should only be fully visible to logged-in members.

For non-members, the system could show a limited or blurred version of the attendee list (similar to GlueUp), so they know there is traction without revealing personal details.

This would create or link a user account on successful payment or registration, assign them to the appropriate group, and unlock the related content immediately (cutting out the need to email them individually as registrations come through). Would help us as an association that sells access to recording and resource packs from prior PD events, which we would like to be able to provide as embedded youtube videos and downloadables on a web page requiring them to be logged in as the registering user.
When using the address field for membership, under primary address it says:

'This is your mailing address. Print mail is sent to this address.'

We never send print mail to our members, so it would be great to just remove the message, or at least the last half; it's assuming and asserting something (unnecessarily) that surely isn't true about every org on this platform.

Like many orgs, we don't really mind which kind of address our members provide; legislation only requires that we collect *some kind* of address (it could be business, postal or even the individual's residential address).

When a user selects 'Address 2', the message above doesn't change, which could be confusing for users (technically they are they being asked to provide two postal addresses, which doesn't seem right).

We've been advised that this is system-defined and can’t be edited. I'm struggling to understand what value it's providing to *anyone* at the moment, so could it just be deleted at the system level?
