Directory - Ability to filter by Gender

It would be great if the directories could be filtered by Gender as the public need to be able to choose if they want a male/female/non-binary when choosing a counsellor. The helpdesk ticket advised this is not possible and to raise it as a feature. Helpdesk ticket 142390.
