Can we have an option to pro-rata membership fee invoices

It would be great to have the option to pro-rata membership fee invoices either quarterly, monthly etc. This will help when people join part way through the membership year e.g. our membership year starts on 1 July, but the system wants to charge them a full year if they apply in March.
