Enhanced Event Registration Controls (Waitlist & Approval Flow)

We would like additional controls for event registrations to better manage capacity and attendee selection.

1. Automatic Waitlist for Full Events

When an event reaches its maximum number of attendees, allow new registrations to be added to a waitlist instead of being blocked.

Key points:

- Waitlist activates automatically once capacity is reached

- Admins can view and promote waitlisted users

- Optional automatic promotion when spots free up

- Notifications to users when waitlisted or confirmed

2. Registration Approval (Accept / Decline)

Add an optional setting per event to approve or decline registrations before confirmation.

Key points:

- Registrations start with a “pending” status

- Admins can accept or decline before adding users to the attendee list

- Useful for invite-only, curated, or member-specific events
